Product Manager, Products and Services
We are looking for a Product Manager to join our fast-paced and dynamic Product and Services supporting our Digital and Retail channels. The Product Manager is responsible for the development of, and ongoing management and support of products defined within their product suite. In this role you will be responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the Product Lifecycle, including: defining the product vision and strategy, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, working closely with tax analysts, operations, finance, marketing, user experience designers, developers, quality assurance analysts, learning and content writers. The Product Manager’s job also includes ensuring that the product supports the company’s overall strategy and goals.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
• Assist in developing, maintaining and delivering upon Product and Services product strategy and roadmap
• Assist with full product cycle management including: research, business cases, product definition, strategy, development efforts, market analysis, beta testing, implementation and ongoing management and support of their defined products and services
• Gather, assess and maintain competitive analysis related to existing and emerging competitive products/services, technologies, market developments and industry trends
• Document product requirements, product specifications, business readiness, go to market strategies and other documents as required
• Organize, prioritize and lead the day-to-day activities to support the “Reloadable Prepaid Card” program and/or any existing and future products
• Complete all tasks necessary to close the product and transition to an operational state, if/when necessary ensuring a seamless delivery through H&R Block retail and digital channels.

• Provide action plans where necessary to improve product profitability, market share, client success ratings impacting revenue, costs and growth
Key Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Finance or the equivalent through a combination of education and work experience
• 3-5 years of product management experience, including experience leading medium to large sized initiatives that involve significant business and/or technology change
• 5 years’ of experience in financial services and/or banking sector
• Strong customer service and client experience background
• Understanding of the application of agile user-centred design values, principles and practices
• Proven problem solving, conceptual thinking and analytical abilities.

The Opportunity:
Reporting to the Application Service Delivery Manager, the SharePoint Specialist will be responsible for the support and ongoing maintenance of H&R Block’s main SharePoint/Team Sites. Working directly with our business partners, this role requires a broad scope of SharePoint skills across multiple disciplines ranging from site administration to delivering content management.

• Provide advice and a modern approach to end users regarding content management and the publishing of information on SharePoint;
• Contribute ideas and execute improvements to our SharePoint environment focused on improving end user experience and data security;
• Collaborate with end users to understand/document their business needs and how to leverage SharePoint to create value-add solutions;

This position requires hands-on experience with a wide variety of complex tax returns as well as a deep understanding of the Canadian and Québec tax systems.
As a Quality Assurance Analyst, you’re good at assessing risk, developing test strategies, running tests, and clearly reporting issues. You love technology and are excited about designing software solutions that impact millions of Canadian taxpayers. You have the technical skills to work in the product development team, actively involved in the end-to-end cycle of testing our tax software, from reviewing & testing tax requirements, PDF tax forms, XML files, and error prevention scenarios.
As a Support Analyst you’re focused on addressing and resolving escalated Québec client issues. This includes in-depth troubleshooting our Digital tax software, assisting our Retail clients that require support from an office, performing client call backs to gather more information when needed, delivering Digital Audit Protection reviews and escalating issues to other specialized departments for further analysis.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
Tax Quality Assurance
• Test software applications for validity of results, reliability and error prevention compliance
• Write, review and execute test cases
• Analyze results, draw conclusions from test results and make recommendations
• Apply income tax knowledge to develop, maintain, run automated tests
• Accurately document software defects, and work with software developers and tax analyst to fix known issues
Support Analyst
• Monitor and validate all escalated client cases (Digital, Retail & Virtual) from the Call Centre
• Log / Update / Resolve / Triage client cases (Canadian and Québec) within our Incident Management system
• Facilitate client call-backs when needed
• Identify and flag client escalated cases that have potential impacts to H&R Block.

Key Qualifications:
