Security Guard

The purpose of the Security Guard is to provide additional support to Staff & Students. Under direct supervision of the Campus Director, the Security Guard is responsible to maintain a safe and secure environment for staff, students and customers.

This is a part-time, evening position (5 pm to 10 pm)

To be successful in the Security Guard position, individuals must be committed to developing, maintaining and demonstrating the following:

Education and Experience:

  • High school graduation with basic training in security practices, customer service and communication
  • One or more years of experience in a similar position
  • The equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
  • Non Violent Physical Crisis Intervention
  • Valid Alberta Security License
  • Valid First Aid, with CPR/AED is an asset

Child & Youth Services Worker Instructor

The purpose of the Instructor is to lead and contribute to the academic success of students and to the success of the College in achieving its statement of purpose. Under general direction, the Instructor is responsible for providing quality instruction and facilitating student learning according to the prescribed curriculum.

Specifically, the Instructor will be responsible for:

  • Evaluating student performance fairly and consistently
  • Contributing to the development of curriculum and instructional materials
  • Supporting the administrative functions of the campus to enhance the student experience
  • Acting in a manner that upholds the College standards
  • Participating in College and Program Activities
  • Monitoring and reviewing students during practicum and/or clinical placements, as program requires

To be successful in the Instructor position, individuals must be committed to developing, maintaining and demonstrating the following:

Education and Experience:

  • Degree or diploma from a recognized University or College in a relevant discipline.
  • Two or more years’ experience in a related field.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • A credential in adult education or in progress from an accredited post-secondary institution, and/or teaching experience is preferred
  • Current membership/licence with relevant regulatory body preferred.
  • Satisfy specific position qualifications as prescribed in program design and program approval for the instruction of the courses.

Rehabilitation Therapy Assistant

The purpose of the Instructor is to lead and contribute to the academic success of students and to the success of the College in achieving its statement of purpose. To be successful in the Instructor position, individuals must be committed to developing, maintaining and demonstrating the following:

Education and Experience:

  • A degree from a university or college recognized by CDI College related to Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy
  • Must be currently licensed as a Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist
  • A minimum of 3 years work-related experience
  • A minimum of 1 year of instructional experience or hold a certificate in adult education
