Administrative – Accounting/Finance

We are looking for the right person to join the team in our busy non-union bi-weekly payroll. If you are energetic, motivated and organized with good communication skills, we offer a great opportunity.

Job Description:

  • Record new employees, terminations and employee changes into Ceridian INSYNC
  • Process benefit enrollments, terminations and changes
  • Maintain employee information in our company web site
  • Maintain spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel
  • Respond to employee emails and questions regarding payroll and benefits
  • Understanding and communication of company policy and payroll legislation

Qualifications:

  • Experience in a busy payroll setting is preferable
  • Post secondary education in payroll or accounting related courses
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Outlook, and Word)
  • Able to achieve deadlines and work under pressure
  • Maintain accuracy
  • Maintain confidentiality at all times
  • Work in a team environment

Position Summary

  • A Customer Service Associate co-ordinates the online process for orders received through our online “shop”. Ensures orders are prioritized and fulfilled in a timely manner through Running Room’s standards and methods.
  • Strives to ensure customer satisfaction while complying with company procedures and policies with professional communication via email, online help platform and phone. Is able to assist customers with knowledgeable information on products offered on “shop” , in our stores and can guide a purchasing decision with personal experiences with the same professional communication.
  • When presented will take ownership of a customer complaint and resolve with the systems, methods and procedures available under Running Room and supervisor’s guidelines.
  • Reasonable timelines will be made to enable individuals to perform at a level essential in providing excellent customer service to our online guests.
  • A basic knowledge in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel as well as personal online ordering experiences will be an asset.
