What you’ll do
- Replace guest amenities and supplies in rooms
- Make beds and fold sheets
- Remove trash, dirty linens and room service items

- Vacuum carpets and floor care duties
Assistant Manager Housekeeping
Entry level management position that focuses on supporting the day-to-day activities in Housekeeping, Recreation/Health Club and Laundry, if applicable. Position directs and works with employees to clean and maintain guestrooms and public space. Completes inspections and holds people accountable for corrective action. Position assists in ensuring guest and employee satisfaction while maintaining the operating budget.
Education and Experience
• High school diploma or GED; 2 years experience in the housekeeping or related professional area.
• 2-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major; no work experience required.

This role requires the ability to move and lift up to 25 lbs. Standing, sitting or walking for extended periods of time and ensuring a professional appearance in a clean uniform are also required. Prior to employment, we’ll ask you to complete safety training and certification.

High school or equivalent education is required; a DEC in hotel management is preferable;
Bilingual (French and English);
Five (5) years of restaurant service experience;
Excellent Wine and alcoholic drink knowledge;
Recognized training on table service or equivalent experience;
Must have excellent knowledge of the City of Montreal and its touristic sites.
