Hiring for Commerce Court Security & Life Safety Team – Toronto
Paragon Security is currently recruiting the best of the best for positions at the Commerce Court Security & Life Safety Team! Starting pay rate for successful candidates is $16.14/hourly After 6 month probation wage is $18.48/hourly. All employees receive benefits. Paragon is seeking qualified security professionals with the security education and experience for an entry position with our team of security professionals at Commerce Court.
Major responsibilities include:
- Responding to various calls for service as well as providing first responder services for all security and life safety emergencies and incidents
- Patrolling the interior and exterior of premises
- Enforcing property regulations, Criminal Code and legislative statutes
- Securing restricted areas
- Facilitating access of vehicles and pedestrians at fixed posts
- Obtaining statements and collecting information for Incident Reports Performing Customer Service related functions
- Identifying Safety Hazards Qualifications and Experience Required
- A Diploma in Law & Security or Police Foundations plus a minimum of 12 months previous security related experience in a Class ‘A’ type environment (Commercial High Rise Buildings)
- Law Enforcement or Military experience an asset
- Experience with enforcing TPA and situations where arrests are made
- No employment gaps for the past 5 years
- Be physically capable of performing the required duties

Paragon Protection Limited is pleased to announce openings for Security Trainer position in the Greater Toronto Area.
This position will provide new hires and incumbent staff specific training programs and development utilizing adult learning methodologies and practices, facilitation of lectures, webinars, hands-on and web-based training, as well as through supervised on-the-job training.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Program delivery
- Work closely with the leader of Training centre to provide standardized, current training curriculum to new hires and incumbents, in both a new hire and continuous learning capacity.
- Prepare and deliver all required training regarding systems, soft skills, tactical training, customer service skills and other training based on the needs of the business.
- Utilize and maintain professional and engaging approaches in the presentation of training programs, ensuring interactive methods are employed.
- Incorporate training methods that support all learning styles in the delivery of training programs.
- Execute training programs in a manner consistent with supporting the business in meeting its goals and objectives.
- Coordinate with other departments to arrange guest trainers and speakers for classes.
