McDonald’s Job Application Process

McDonald’s is the world’s largest fast food restaurant company, serving 69 million customers a day. McDonald’s generally sells hamburgers, cheeseburgers, french fries and cold drinks.
The first McDonald’s restaurant was opened in San Bernardino, California, USA in 1940 by Richard and Maurice McDonald.

McDonald’s today serves more than 34,000 restaurants in more than 119 countries. More than 13,000 of them are located outside of America. About 80% of the restaurants are run by the operators, while others are run by the McDonald’s company itself. Every day, an average of 69 million people around the world visit McDonald’s restaurants. The number of employees working at McDonald’s restaurants in the world exceeds 1.8 million. 98% of the population in the USA goes to McDonald’s at least once a year.

McDonald’s operations around the world are managed from the company’s headquarters in Oak Brook, near Chicago in the USA. At Hamburger University, McDonald’s international education center also located in Oak Brook, thousands of McDonald’s operators and employees from all corners of the world learn the intricacies of the “hamburger business”.

McDonald’s standards were created in 1954 by Ray Kroc, who saw that the only way to reach customer satisfaction was through uncompromising quality, successful service and a cleanliness that covers all the details. And since that day, every step towards improving McDonald’s system has been shaped around these standards and has been taken by adhering to these standards.
