Customer Service Associate

The primary function of the Customer Service Associate (CSA) Front End is to assist customers with all of their shopping needs. The CSA Front End is required to respond to customer inquiries and support them throughout their shopping experience including promoting customer loyalty plans and/or extended protection/replacement plans where appropriate.

Duties also include processing customer sales and returns by operating a cash register, handling internet and pick-up orders, looking up merchandise information for price matches, and providing assistance to other team members as needed. The CSA Front End is also responsible for addressing customer complaints over the phone and in person. The CSA Front End is expected to maintain a safe and secure work environment by conducting daily safety reviews, noting hazards, keeping store areas clean and organized, and monitoring for potential theft or security risks. Lastly, the CSA Front End is responsible for completing all other duties as assigned. Requires morning, afternoon, and evening availability any day of the week. Required to work a schedule as determined by sales, customer, and business needs, but may be changed by store management based on the needs of the store. Requests to be scheduled off for a specific day require advanced notification and approval by supervisor.

Hourly Full Time, Part Time or Seasonal: Generally scheduled 40, 24 to 30, or 0 to 40 hours per week respectively; more hours may be required based on the needs of the store. This position reports to an Assistant Store Manager and takes daily direction from a Department Manager. This position does not have direct reports.

Night Crew Associate

Responsible for distributing and stocking merchandise throughout the store including caring for store equipment and cleaning hazardous materials spills. Also responsible for providing excellent customer service by greeting customers and assisting customers in locating, selecting, demonstrating, and loading of merchandise.

Requires late evening, night-time, and early morning availability any day of the week. Physical ability to move large, bulky and/or heavy merchandise. Physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties.

Job Requirements

  • Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction);

Preferred Qualifications;

  • 3 months experience operating forklift/power equipment such as lifts, order pickers, and similar equipment;
  • 6 months experience in a warehouse performing inventory handling and stocking.

Installed Sales Product Associate

• Being friendly and professional, and responding quickly to customer and associate needs.
• Ensuring merchandise is accurately accounted for and staged to meet project timelines.
• Engaging in safe work practices and encouraging others to do the same.
The Installed Sales Product Associate supports all Installed Sales activities by managing and preparing orders prior to customer pick up. To meet the needs of our customers, this associate must feel comfortable engaging in conversations with vendors to ensure correct products are delivered on time.
Travel Requirements: This role does not require regular travel; however, this role may need to travel on occasion to meetings, trainings, or to support neighboring stores.What We’re Looking For
• Hourly Full Time or Part Time: Generally scheduled 39 to 40 or up to 25 hours per week, respectively; more hours may be required based on the needs of the store.

• 6 months of experience communicating with vendors OR customers regarding returns, payments, or contract fulfillment.

Associate Merchant

The Associate Merchant will assist the Merchant team with implementation and execution of product strategies that align with business objectives and financial goals. This role will support the merchant team through a variety of tasks, including business analysis, product review, vendor meetings, and execution of strategy.
RESPONSIBILITY STATEMENTS:
• Responsible for specified portion of product assortments and groups.
• Supports Merchant teams and executes tasks to deliver on strategic objectives.
• Partners with leader and cross-functional partners to assist in building product assortment and lines for specified categories.
• Analyze business trends and identify areas of opportunities and provide recommendations for improvements to the Merchant teams.
• Helps manage relationships and facilitate vendor interactions working closely with Merchant/Sr. Merchant.
• Builds and maintains strong understanding of the industry.
• Partners for specific category tactics and execution.
• May make product decisions for assigned product category groups.
Required Experience/Education:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Related Field.
• 2+ years professional or retail experience.

Position Description Assist customers with all of their shopping needs including responding to inquiries and helping customers with locating, carrying, and loading merchandise. Also supports check out and other functions as needed including preparing quick-load items, replenishing shelf stock, and using power equipment.

Preferred Qualifications 6 months retail experience 6 months experience as a Loader at other home improvement or hardware retailers. 6 months experience working in any department at a Lowe’s retail store. 6 months retail merchandising experience, including performing Zone Recovery, stocking, downstocking, facing/fronting product, pricing, maintaining signage, and housekeeping. 6 months experience in any industry inspecting, carrying, loading, and unloading product or material in or out of vehicles.
